Gave blood to non muslim.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Asalam-O-Alekum Warahmat Ullah Alaeh Wa Barakatahoo,

I have one important question that last night we go to hospital to see one of our friend he is admit in "ICU". For his operation doctor ask for blood but we reach late and hospital staff arrange blood for our friend so replace of that blood we give blood donation for hospital blood bank. So really we donʼt know doctors inject that blood to Muslim patient or Non-Muslim if doctor inject our blood to Muslim patient Insha-Allah that is cause "HASNAT" fro us and if that blood injected to Non-Muslim patient what is effected at us even we gave the blood only pleasure of "Allah Subhana Hoo Watalla".

I will wait for your sweet and love full reply.

With best regards

Answer:

Gave blood to non muslim

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

If one helps another in creation only for the Sake of Allah Subhanah, absolutely regardless of whether that recipient person has chosen to believe or disbelieve….if they did that good deed solely to earn the Pleasure and the Good Will of their Lord Most High, without an iota of a doubt, they will have their due reward in the Presence of their Lord Most Majestic, Most Supreme.

Respected brother in Islam, leave alone expecting a reward for helping another human being…..one is promised a reward from the Lord even if one helps one amongst the animals in Allah’s Creation!

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.646         Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet (saws) said, "A man felt very thirsty; while he was on the way there he came across a well. He went down the well, quenched his thirst and came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. He said to himself, "This dog is suffering from thirst as I did." He went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water, and then held it in his mouth until he climbed out and gave the dog water to drink.   Allah appreciated him for that deed and forgave him. The people said, "O Allah's Messenger (saws)! Is there a reward for us in serving the animals?" He (saws) replied: "Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate (living being)."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verse 47:

47      We shall set up Scales of Justice for the Day of Judgment so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least.  And if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed (good or evil), We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
