Famous christians

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

Amongst the most famous Christians who reverted to the Truth of Al-Islam in our generation that come to mind are:

1. Yusuf Islam, the former rock star known as Cat Stevens.
2. Siraj Wajjaj, the present ‘Imam’ and orator of ‘Masjid-at-Taqwa’ in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
3. Hamza Yusuf, born Mark Hanson, a scholar of Islam and the Director of ‘Zaytuna Institute’ from California, USA.
4. Kareem Abdul Jabbar, formally known as Ferdinand Lewis; arguably the best basketball player of his generation and voted the MVP (most valuable player) of the NBA (national basketball association) USA for six years.
5. Malcolm X, born Michael Little, the famous civil rights leader from the USA.
6. Mohamed Ali, the famous boxer formally known as Casius Clay.
7. Muhammad Asad  born Leopold Weiss; Statesman, Journalist, and Author from Austria.
8. Ali Ahmed born Knud Holmboe;  Journalist and Author from Denmark.
