Answer:

What is sadaqa Jariya continuous charity

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Abu Hurairah reported, "The Prophet (saws) said, 'When a person dies all his good deeds cease except for three: a continuous act of charity (sadaqa jaariyah), beneficial knowledge, and a righteous son who prays for him'.''

Related by Muslim, and Abu Dawood.

Abu Hurairah reported, "The Prophet (saws) said, 'The righteous works that continue to benefit a believer after his death (or sadaqa jaariyah) include the knowledge that he taught and spread among others, a righteous son whom he leaves behind, or a copy of the Qur'an that he bequeaths to his inheritors, or a mosque that he builds, or a rest house that he builds for the wayfarers, or a canal of water that he digs for the benefit of others, or a charity that he gives out of his property during his life while he is sound of health.  He will continue to receive reward for all these even after his death.'

Related by Ibn Majah.

Your Question: please let me know that what all comes in sadqa jaria.

Beloved Sister, anything one spends in the Cause of Allah seeking only His Pleasure and Good Will, and the people derive benefit from that product even after the person who built or spend on it died; Allah Subhanah will continue to accumulate the reward for the person who built or spent on it even after his death.

Basically any good or virtuous deed which one started or any thing which one built like mosques, Quran learning centers, orphanages, free hospitals, distribution of Islamic books or cassettes, graveyards, or even if one made a road, or a well, or planted a tree….if people (and even animals) derive benefit from the thing which a person initiated seeking the Pleasure of Allah,  Allah Subhanah will accumulate the reward of the person as long as the people derive benefit from it, even if the person is long dead.  Such is the Merciful Accounting of the Lord Most Merciful that no good deed initiated by a person will ever be wasted.

Your Question: i mean that the money we want to leave aside, for sadqa jaria ,where all can we give it.

Beloved Sister, you can spend in any category of ‘sadaqa’ or charity you wish in the Noble Cause of Allah Subhanah seeking only His Pleasure and Good Will; and as long as the people derive benefit from the product you spent on, rest assured that Allah Subhanah will accumulate the rewards for you even after your death.  In our humble opinion, amongst the best ‘sadaqa jaariyah’ is the distribution of the Quran and good Islamic books, cassettes, and knowledge so that anyone who is guided aright through these and whatever good deeds they do, Allah Subhanah will accumulate  you a share of their rewards without diminishing their rewards in the least.  Amongst the other good categories of ‘sadaqa jaariyah’ is the building of mosques, Islamic learning centers, orphanages, free hospitals, etc. whereby these institutions would continue to help your fellow human beings even after your death.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and sincere well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
