I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD TELL ME SOME OF
THE MOOJIZAATH OF OUR BELOVED RASOOL (SALLA ALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM) (like the
stick changing in to a snake, hand changing to white, etc., to Moosa Alaihi
Aassalaam, and as of Essa Alaihi Assalaam, speaking from in side the womb,
curing of leprous, etc.,) ALONG WITH SOME AUTHENTICATIONS FROM THE HOLY QURAAN
& HADHEETH SHAREEF, JUST FOR ME TO KNOW FIRST & TO EXPLAIN TO
OTHERS...!!! MAY ALLAH REWARD YOU .

Answer:
Miracles of Prophet saws
In the name of Allah, We
praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah
guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide
them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
A miracle is described
as an out of the ordinary event or occurrence carried out by Divine Decree and
Help. Allah has prescribed a way or
‘sabab’ for everything to happen in this world,
and anything that happens beyond this way or ‘sabab’ is termed a
miracle. For example, if one wishes to
eat something he needs to make or go and get some eatables to eat; but if,
without the usage of any ‘sabab’ the food were to appear in front of him out of
thin air, it would be termed a miracle!
One must know with
conviction that a miracle cannot be performed by anyone, including the Prophets
of Allah, by their own selves; but it is Allah Subhanah Alone Who bestows
miracles at the hands of whom He Wills, Pleases, and Decrees.
Miracles are only in the
domain of Allah Alone and nobody has a right to do or show any miracles
whatsoever, unless Allah Himself commands and sends the miracle to any of his
slaves. No one, absolutely no one, can
do a miracle by his own self; not even
the mightiest Prophets of Allah! Allah
gives many examples of His Miracles in the Holy Quran which he gave to Prophet
Abraham, Prophet Moses, Prophet Isa and many other Prophets. These miracles were not performed at the whim
or desires of the Prophets, but were always in Allah’s Hands and Commands.
Allah says in
the Holy Quran Chapter 13 Surah Raad verse 38: We have sent many Messengers
before you (O Mohamed), and We assigned
to them wives and children. And
no Messenger had the power to show any Miracles without the sanction of Allah.
Allah says in
the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran
verse 49-50: (Jesus said), “I have come to you with a clear Sign (Miracle) from your Lord. In your very presence, I make the likeness of a bird out of clay and
breathe into it, and it becomes, by Allah’s Command, a bird.
I heal those born blind and the lepers, and I bring to life the dead by
Allah’s Command. I inform you what you
eat and what you store up in your homes.
Surely there is a great Sign for you in all this, if you have a mind to believe.”
The duty and mission of
the Prophets of Allah is not to come and perform Miracles, but their duty and mission is to declare the
Message of Truth from their Lord and Creator.
The truthful and righteous people of society recognize the Prophets
through their character and the truthfulness of the Message they come with,
without the need of any miracles. The
Miracles are more often than not reserved for those obstinate and arrogant
disbelievers who absolutely disbelieve in the Messengers of Allah and the
Message they have been sent with, and it is they who time and again demand that
the Prophets of Allah show them miracles to substantiate their claims that they
are indeed appointed as Prophets from their Lord!
Allah Says in
the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 109: They (the disbelievers) swear
their strongest oaths by Allah that if a (special) Sign (or Miracle) came to
them, by it they would believe. Say (O
Prophet to them): "Certainly (all) Signs (and Miracles) are in the Power
of Allah Alone”. But what will make you
realize that even if a (special) Sign comes they will not believe!
Allah Says in
the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Israa verses 89-93:
89 And We have explained to man in this Qur'an every kind of
similitude: yet the grater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with
ingratitude!
90 They (the disbelievers) say: "We shall not believe in thee
(the Prophet (saws)) until thou cause springs to gush forth for us from the
earth;
91 Or (until) thou have a garden of date trees, and vines,
and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst carrying abundant water;
92 Or thou cause the sky to fall in pieces as thou sayest (will
happen) against us; or thou bring Allah
and the Angels before (us): face to face;
93 Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the
skies. No! We shall not even believe in thy mounting
until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say (to them O Prophet (saws)): "Glory
to my Lord! Am I aught but a man, and a
Messenger?"
If Allah Wills to try
and test these obstinate disbelievers to their word that they will believe
after the showing of miracles, Allah Subhanah performs the miracles through the
hands of His appointed Prophets. Those
who witness the Miracles at the hands of the Prophets and continue to disbelieve
in their appointment, are ultimately subdued or destroyed by Allah Subhanah.
During the lifetime of
the Prophet (saws), there were umpteen miracles which as the occasions,
conditions and times demanded, the Lord Most Gracious bestowed and showed
miracles at the blessed hands of the Prophet (saws). The miracles which were performed at the
hands of the Prophet (saws) are several and documented in his (saw’s) authentic
ahaadeeths. The famous amongst them
are:
Allah Says in
the Holy Quran Chapter 54 Surah Qamar verses 1-2:
1 The hour (of Judgment) is nigh and the moon is cleft asunder.
2 But if they (the disbelievers) see a Sign they turn away and say
"This is (but) transient magic."

lifetime of Allah's Messenger (saws) the moon was split into two parts; one
part remained over the mountain, and the other part went beyond the mountain.
On that, Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Witness this miracle."

Once we
were traveling with the Prophet (saws) and the people complained to him of
thirst. Thereupon he got down and called a person and 'Ali, and ordered them to
go and bring water. So they went in search of water and met a woman who was
sitting on her camel between two bags of water. They asked, "Where can we
find water?" She replied, "I was there (at the place of water) this
hour yesterday and my people are behind me." They requested her to
accompany them. She asked, "Where?" They said, "To Allah's Messenger
(saws)." She said, "Do you
mean the man who is called the Sabi, (with a new religion)?" They replied,
"Yes, the same person. So come along." They brought her to the Prophet (saws) and
narrated the whole story. He (saws) said, "Help her to dismount." The Prophet (saws) then asked for a pot, then
he (saws) opened the mouths of the bags and poured some water into the pot.
Then he closed the big openings of the bags and opened the small ones and the
people were called upon to drink and water their animals. So they all watered
their animals and they (too) all quenched their thirst and also gave water to
others, and last of all the Prophet (saws) gave a pot full of water to the
person who was Junub and told him to pour it over his body. The woman was
standing and watching all that they were doing with her water. By Allah, when her water bags were returned
they looked like as if they were more full (of water) than they had been before!
Then the Prophet (saws) ordered us to collect something for her; so dates,
flour and Sawiq were collected which amounted to a good meal that was put in a
piece of cloth. She was helped to ride on her camel and that cloth full of
foodstuff was also placed in front of her and then the Prophet (saws) said to
her, "We have not taken your water but Allah has given water to us." She returned home late. Her relatives asked
her: "O so and so what has delayed you?" She said, "A strange
thing! Two men met me and took me to the man who is called the Sabi' and he did
such and such a thing. By Allah, he is either the greatest magician between
this and this (gesturing with her index and middle fingers raising them towards
the sky indicating the heaven and the earth) or he is Allah's true Prophet."

Once I saw
Allah's Messenger (saws) when the 'Asr prayer was due and the people searched
for water to perform ablution but they could not find it. Later on (a pot full
of) water for ablution was brought to Allah's Messenger (saws). He (saws) put
his hand in that pot and ordered the people to perform ablution from it. I saw
the water springing out from underneath his fingers till all of them performed
the ablution.
Beloved brother, there
are many such instances where a miracle was performed at the hands of the
Prophet (saws) by Allah Subhanah, and they are well documented in the various
authentic traditions. But the truth is
that regardless of which miracle Allah Subhanah chose to perform at the hands
of which Prophet (saws), such miracles as performed by Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.),
Prophet Saleh (a.s.), Prophet Musa (a.s.), Prophet Isa (a.s.), and even Prophet
Mohamed (a.s.) were only witnessed by those who saw them first hand; but,
without an iota of a doubt, the single
biggest Miracle which the Lord Most Gracious performed through His Last and
Final Messenger (saws) was His Gift of Mercy and Guidance which can be
witnessed by man till the end of time: the One and Only Glorious Quran
al-Kareem!

by Abu Huraira
The Prophet
(saws) said, "There was no Prophet among the Prophets but was given
miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but
what I was given was the Divine Inspiration (the Al-Quran) which Allah revealed
to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other
Prophet on the Day of Resurrection."
Such is the magnitude of
this miracle of the Glorious Quran, that Allah Subhanah has chosen to name
every single verse of His Message as His ‘Aayah’ or Miracle!
Whatever written of
Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever
of error is of me alone. Allah Alone
Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
