One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Answer:

Convert wants to learn Islam

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

May Allah Subhanah bless your reversion to the deen of Truth, bless you, guide you, have mercy upon you, and give you and us all the wisdom and the courage to stay steadfast on this path of Truth until He Wills to call us back unto His Majestic Presence.

Your Statement: I am eager to learn in a formal setting.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 125: Those whom Allah (in His Plan) Willeth to guide He opens their breast to (the knowledge and understanding of) Islam; those whom He Willeth to leave straying He maketh their breast close and constricted as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 218         Narrated by Anas ibn Malik

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim.’

Dear and Beloved Brother in Islam, may Allah Subhanah increase your quest for learning more about this deen of Truth called Al-Islam.  Beloved brother, we normally never ever ask for the location of our subscribers; but keeping your love for seeking knowledge in view we humbly ask you to disclose the city where you reside so that we may be able to guide you towards a good Islamic Guidance Centre in your locality where the brothers would be able to assist you Insha-Allah in your quest for learning Islam in a formal setting.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
