Staunch enemy of Maula

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

one of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Staunch enemy of Syedna:

The points you have been making are nothing new or original about our beliefs in our deen or about our

Moula.  For centuries people like you and the groups like the one you belong to have tried without success

to persuade followers of duaats to give up their beliefes, give up our Moula. Rather then give up Moula, mumineen today in this information age are convinced more then ever that our Moula is the true  follower of Islam.  Not because of blind faith but because of true conviction which is derived from reason.  Stop wasting your time in trying to convince us about your belief.  If a few hundreds of years of history do not teach you anything, nothing will.  You will also be a failure like all those who came before you.

Staunch enemy of Maula

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,  no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

My beloved brother in Islam,  all we are doing is inviting you to read and understand the Quran and then decide who is on the Right Path and who is astray.    If after reading and understanding the Quran,  you think the Syedna is guiding you towards the guidance and teachings of Allah Subhanah and His Messenger (saws);  by all means…  follow what you think is right.    But,  please,  for your own sake,  read and understand the clear guidance and teachings of the Quran before you decide.    If your Syedna is guiding you towards the teachings of the Quran,  then everything he says should match the clear guidance and commands of the Holy Quran.    But what if you find out that the Quran is guiding towards something,  and the Syedna is guiding towards something else?   Whom are you going to believe?   The words of Allah Subhanah Himself,  or the words of a mere human being?

Brother,  the truth is that the only reason people follow the Syedna is because they were born into the Bohra deen.   There is neither any propagation of Bohraism to non-Bohras,  nor are there any conversions to Bohraism!    The people who follow the teachings of the Syedna are systematically kept away from the understanding of the Quran by the leadership!   And if you ask any Bohra why he follows the Syedna,  you will realize that the only reason he follows the leadership is because he found his forefathers doing so!    Brother,  that is exactly what the pagans and disbelievers of Truth always told the people who invited them to obey and follow the Revelations of Allah.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 170-171:

When it is said to them, “Follow the Commands that Allah has sent down”,  they reply, “We will follow only what we found our forefathers practising.”  Well,  will they go on following their forefathers even though they did not use common sense and did not find the Right Way!  The mental condition of those who rejected the way of Allah may be likened to that of the cattle whom the shepherd calls but they hear nothing except the sound of shouts and cries.   They are deaf,  they are dumb,  they are blind;  therefore they do not understand anything.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21  Surah Anbiyaa  verse 52-54:

Recall to mind the occasion when Ibrahim said to his father and his people, “What are these images to which you are so devoted?”  They replied, “We found our forefathers worshipping them.”  Ibrahim said, “You have gone astray and so had your forefathers manifestly deviated from the Right Way.”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 31  Surah Luqman verse 21:

And when it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has sent down”,  they say, “We shall only follow that upon which we found our forefathers.”   What!  Will they still be following them even if Shaitaan had been calling them to the raging Fire?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 34 Surah Saba  verse 43:

When Our clear Revelations are recited to these people,  they say,  “This person only wants to turn you away from those deities whom your forefathers have been worshipping.”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf  verse 22-25:

Nay!  But they say, “We found our forefathers on a way and we are only walking in their footsteps.”  Even so,  whenever before you We sent a warner to a habitation,  its people of means said, “We have found our forefathers on a way and we are only following in their footsteps.”   Every Prophet asked them, “Will you still go on following the same old way even if I guide you to a more right way than that you found your forefathers following?”   They replied, “We disbelieve the religion with which you have been sent.”  Consequently,  We took vengeance on them.  Just consider what was the end of those who denied.

Brother,  all we ask of you is to read and understand the very words of Allah,  which He has revealed for our guidance and the guidance of all mankind.     And we humbly challenge you to prove to us from the words of the Quran that the Syedna is indeed on the Truth!    There are more than 6,000 aayahs of the Holy Quran…. We challenge you to give us ONE aayah which even remotely confirms to what the Bohras believe.

Our duty was to invite you and whoever wants to listen to good caution to the clear guidance and teachings of the Holy Quran,  and Allah is our witness,  we have done our duty.   To believe or deny the Revelations of Allah is upto the individual;  for ultimately all of us will be inevitably gathered in the Court of Allah to give a full accounting of our deeds.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 165-167:

There are people who set up equals and rivals with Allah and adore them with the adoration due to Allah!   Whereas the believers adore Allah most ardently.   Would that these transgressors could realize now what they will realize,  when they see the chastisement before them:  that power and authority wholly belong to Allah,  and that Allah is severe in punishment!   When He will inflict punishment,  those very leaders and guides whom they followed in the world will disown them.   But punishment they shall get and all their bonds shall be cut off.   Then those who followed them will say, “Would that we were given another chance to return to the world.   Then we will disown them just as they have disowned us today!”  Thus Allah will bring before them the deeds they did in the world in such a manner as to make them wring their hands in regret,  but they shall be unable to come out of the Fire.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 86-88:

You never hoped that the Book would be sent down to you.   Only through your Lord’s Mercy (has it been sent down to you),  therefore,  do not be a helper of those who do not believe!   And let it never happen that the unbelievers should divert you from Allah’s ‘aayahs’(Revelations) after they have been sent to you.  Invite towards your Lord and do not join those who invoke others with Allah,  nor invoke any deity other than Allah.   There is no deity but He.   Everything is perishable except Him!  Sovereignty is His,  and to Him will all of you be returned.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah Ha Meem As Sajdah verses 4-5:

Yet most of these people have turned away from it (The Quran),  and they pay no heed.  They say, “Our hearts are covered with veils from that to which you are calling us;  our ears have become deaf;  and between us and you there is a curtain,  so do as you please,  and we shall do as we will!”

Brother notice what Allah has said in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago. If you read your statement to the forum, you will see a hint of what the above ayah is describing.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 82:

But if they turn away,  your only responsibility is to convey the plain Message of Truth!  They recognize the blessing of Allah,  yet they deny it,  for the majority of them are not inclined to accept the Truth!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anam verse 81-82:

And there is no reason why I should fear those whom you have made partners with Allah,  when you are not afraid of setting up those things as partners with Allah,  for which He has sent down No Authority to you!   Then tell me,  if you have any knowledge:  Which of the two parties merits peace and freedom from fear?  As a matter of fact,  only those who have believed and not polluted their Faith with ‘shirk’,  have peace and are Rightly Guided.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 157-158:

Now that a clear proof,  a Guidance and Blessing, has come to you from your Lord,  who can be more unjust than the one who treats Our Revelations as false and turns away from them?   We will inflict the severest torment on those who turn away from Our Revelations because of their aversion.   Do the people now await that the angels should come down before them?  Or that your Lord may Himself come down?  Or that the manifest Signs of your Lord should appear?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verses 2-3:

This is a Book which has been sent down to you.  So,  let there be no hesitation in your mind about it.   This has been sent down that you may thereby warn (the disbelievers),  and that it may be an Admonition to the believers.   O people,  follow what has been sent down to you from your Lord,  and do not follow other ‘auliyaas’ besides Him.   But you seldom take Admonition!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 35-36:

Ask them, “Is there any of the partners you have set up with Allah,  who guides to the Truth?”   Say, “It is Allah Alone Who guides to the Truth.”  Very well,  then tell, “Who is more worthy to be followed:  He Who guides to the Truth,  or the one who cannot guide unless he himself is guided?   What has then gone wrong with you that you make perverted judgements?”   The fact is that most of them are following mere conjecture,  whereas conjecture cannot in any way fulfill the requirements of the True Knowledge.   Allah has full knowledge of what they are doing.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 40-44:

Some of these people will believe in (The Quran),  and others will not.   Your Lord knows these mischief-makers very well indeed.   If these people deny you,  say to them: “I am responsible for my deeds and you are for yours.   You are not accountable for what I do,  nor am I for what you do.”  There are many among them who hear what you say,  but will you make the deaf to listen to you,  even though they be incapable of understanding this?   Then there are many others among them who see you.   But will you show the way to the blind,  even though they be bereft of sight?   The fact is that Allah does not in any way wrong the people,  but they wronged themselves!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verses 103-106:

Tell them (O Mohamed), “Should We tell you who are the most unsuccessful people and miserable failures in regard to their deeds?   They are those,  all whose edeavours in the worldly life,  had gone astray from the Right Way,  but all along they were under the delusion that everything they were doing,  was rightly directed!   Those are the people who rejected the Revelations of their Lord and did not believe that they would ever go before Him.   Therefore all their deeds were lost,  for We shall assign no weight to them on the Day of Reserruction.  Their recompense is Hell for the disbelief  they showed,  and for the mockery they adopted in regard to My Aayahs and My Messengers!”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29:

Proclaim, “This is the Truth from you Lord:  now whoever wills may accept it,  and whosoever wills may reject it”.

My beloved brother,  we can quote aayah upon aayah from the Glorious Quran to prove that only Allah and His Messenger(saws) deserve our unconditional obedience.    But we ask you humbly to just give us one aayah,  I repeat,  Just One Aayah,  which  can prove that the Bohra way is indeed the Right Way!

And if you cannot produce your evidence,   and I assure you there is no such evidence of the falsehood practiced and preached by the Syedna in the Glorious Quran …. Bear witness with the rest of the believers that there is no deity worthy of invocation and worship except Allah Subhanah Alone!

And one last thing which we would like to bring to your attention.      The biggest sin in Islam is the heinous crime of ‘shirk’ or associating other deities with Allah;  and brother,  if you read the Quran with understanding you will realize and bear witness that the Bohras are involved in manifest shirk when they invoke their priests and holy men … alive and those that are dead in their graves!   It is ‘shirk’ to invoke anyone other than Allah Subhanah Alone!   It is manifest ‘shirk’ to bow down in prostration to anyone other than Allah Subhanah Alone!   And the Bohra way of worship is nothing but manifest ‘shirk’!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
