Why should somebody ask you the question instead he/she can go to amil saheb or raza saheb and ask him? or possible Ask Dai Zamaan TUS thru amil saheb

Razza

My dear brother,  Jazak Allah Kheir for asking the question.   By all means,  you could go to the ‘amil saheb’ or any other scholar you think will guide you to Islam from the Quran.   You are by no means forced to ask any questions on this forum … Brother,  we ask for no reward and no thanks for this service.   We do it only,  I repeat,  ONLY,  for the Pleasure of Allah Subhanah,  and a service in the name of Allah,  to our mu’meneen  brothers and sisters who  have questions but are not satisfied with the answers they get from the amils,  or their questions are put through the grind of bureaucracy when asked.    This forum  is only a means to get a second opinion.   The brothers who ask us a question are welcome and encouraged to ask the same question to any scholar they like, and compare the answers.   If our answer satisfies their query,  and the other scholars who guide from the Quran come up with the same answer,  they are welcome to accept it.   If our answer does not satisfy them,  and (Allah forbid)  is against the guidance of the Quran,  they are welcome to reject it.   But at least,  they have taken another opinion to satisfy their query.

Brothers,  I should also share the experience with you that inspired us to start this helpline service.  I visited a Bohra site on the web,  where a poor brother, who is studying in the US,  inquired  if he was allowed to ask a theological question.    The response of the Bohra administrator was so rude,  that  he basically challenged the brother’s belief in Islam.   The poor brother was only inquiring if he could pose a question and the reply he got from the administrator was:  1.  Are you a believer?  2. How dare you ask a question on Islam?   3.  Do you think you know more than the ‘raza na saheb’?  4.  Who do you think you are?  5.  I am sure you don’t attend the masjid and darees regularly! 6.  I don’t like your tone of questioning!  7.  Your mind is corrupted by western thoughts and ideas!  8. If you don’t like it,  leave the sect and go your way!

The poor brother replied,  that he was just inquiring if he could ask a  question,  and he did not deserve this kind of reply.   He pleaded,  that since he did not have an alternative,  he would kill his question and follow the herd,  even if it made no sense to him.

This is what inspired us to give our mu’meneen brothers and sisters an alternative to ask any question they would like on Islam on our helpline forum.   We would try to give evidence for every answer,  first from the Quran,  and if not directly available,  then the authentic traditions of the Holy Prophet (saws).   They are encouraged to take a second and third  or any number of opinions from any Islamic scholar,  who,  if guiding from the Quran, will Insha Allah,  come to the same conclusions.

Islam is a religion based on “fitrah” as mentioned in the Quran.   The Arabic word “fitrah”  means logical and natural.   There is nothing in Islam which is not logical!   Everything Allah has commanded in the Quran makes 100% sense … be it science,  be it astronomy,  be it medicine,  be it ethical,  or be it theological.   There is nothing that Allah has commanded in the Quran that is illogical.   And why should it be?   These are the very words of  the Lord of the Worlds.   He in His divine Wisdom,  revealed the Quran,  to guide mankind to the Siraat al Mustaqeem.

I would like you brothers to judge for yourself.   Just imagine,  that a doctor diagnosed someone as having cancer.   His first reaction would be,  that he should take a second or third opinion,  to make sure that the diagnosis by his doctor is correct.   That would be the logical thing to do.   But just imagine if the doctor told him that he should not take a second or third opinion under any circumstances,  because  he might get confused.  He would definitely develop a mis-trust for this doctor!   Why does he not allow me to take another opinion?    If he is right, he should not be worried as all the doctors would come to the same conclusion.

Similarly,  when one buys a house,  he would not go to the first house he came upon and buy it.  And especially not,  if the broker told him not to look around for any other property or ask any questions,  as he might get completely confused!!!  He would immediately develop a mis-trust for the broker.   Am I getting the best deal here?  Am I being over-charged for the house?  Is there a problem with this house?  These are logical questions  which would arise in one’s mind.

And similarly if one went to buy a car,  he would not buy the first car he came upon.   He would definitely do some research.  Read material on the brand and make of the car.   And especially,  his suspicion would arise,  if the dealer told him not to check out any other car in the world!

Brother,  just think for a moment.   For a simple purchase of a house,  or a car,  or even our health,  we take multiple opinions and options,  but for our deen,  on which depends our whole hereafter,  we just take one opinion!   Even if that opinion is against all reasoning,  and we know in our hearts that something is not right,   we just  close our minds and hearts and follow it blindly.     The fact that the doctor, or the real estate-broker, or the car-dealer told us not to ask questions and not to take a second opinion is a proof in itself,  that he is trying to hide something. Similarly,  the fact that these  religious priests, who constantly tell us not to  understand the Quran,  and thus try to conceal the guidance that Allah has revealed for all mankind,  is a definite proof in itself, that they are trying to hide something.  Islam is a religion based on knowledge and not blind faith.   It is only through knowledge that a person can become a true muslim.  And it is only through reasoning that he is able to recognize that there is Only One God,  Who Created everything in creation,  and therefore,  only He deserves to be worshipped.    There are millions of people who convert to Islam every year based on intellectual and logical reasoning.   When is the last time a person converted to the sect of Bohrism through reasoning?

Allah has created us free beings and has honored only us, humans, with the faculty of reasoning,   therefore it becomes our duty to reason and search and find the Right Path that leads to the Mercy of Allah.   Reasoning becomes incumbent upon us, especially,  if the one who gives the opinion,  constantly warns us not to take any other opinion from anybody!   Just follow what we give you,  whether it makes sense or not!   You do not need to think here … your duty is to just follow us,  and we will guide you to the hereafter!    Have you even imagined for one-second,  what if the opinion is not correct?  Our whole life in the hereafter depends on this one opinion.   For our worldly life of 50-70-100-130 years,  we think tens of times before making an investment!   But for our eternal afterlife,  we just close our eyes,  our ears,  our minds and our hearts and follow the priests like cattle!!   This system of following blindly without reasoning,  is against the principles of  Islam,  as is evident from the following aayats of  the Holy Quran!!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqan verse 43-44: Have you ever considered the case of the one who has made his whims his god?   Can you take the responsibility of guiding such a one aright?   Do you think that most of them hear or understand?   They are only like the cattle,  nay,  even worse than cattle!

Allah has sent us the Quran for our guidance,  and we have  neglected to understand what is the message from our Lord and Master.    When is the last time you received an answer from the ‘aamil’  and he gave you evidence from the Quran?   Did we even bother to check whether the answer he gives is from the Quran?   How could we?   They have simply taken out the understanding of the Quran from our system!   They tell us that the Quran is so complicated,  that fools like us cannot understand it.   They tell us that the Quran has many meanings,  and if we try to understand it,  we might get confused and thus mis-guided.   They tell us that the Quran  is meant to be understood only by them,  and if fools like us tried to understand the message of the Lord of the Worlds,  we will get mis-guided!

Brothers,  how is it possible for the Quran to mis-guide,  if one is indeed searching for the truth?   These are the very words of our Lord and Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in between!   Why would Allah send mankind a message nobody, except a few,  could understand?   And then judge us on the Day of Resurrection on whether we followed the commandments of the Quran or not?   The people who claim that it is not for us fools to understand the Quran,  have conveniently taken us out of the submission of Allah,  and made us subservient to themselves, their families and their forefathers?   Where is the evidence from the Quran that these priests and their families and their forefathers are the ‘raza na sahebs’?   The Quran today is understood by millions of muslims worldwide!   But we fools  are not allowed to understand it!   And it is this mis-conception that has brought us into the servitude of man and graves,  rather than the servitude of Allah, the Merciful.  It is this mis-conception that has made us Abde-Syedna(slave of Syedna) rather than Abd-Allah (slave of Allah).

Allah Himself says that the Quranic aayats are easy to understand and  deserve to be pondered over and over.   Allah Himself says that the Quran has been revealed to take mankind out of the ignorance of ‘shirk’ and bring them to the light of guidance!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 44 Surah Dukhan verse 58:We have made this Book easy in your own tongue so that they may ponder and take good counsel.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 1-3:Haa Meem.  By this lucid (clear or open) Book.   We have made it an Arabic Quran,  so that you may understand it.

Brothers,  I urge all of you to understand the Quran once.   Take Allah’s word for once in your life … He Himself says in the above aayahs that the Quran is easy to understand.   The shepherds and nomads of the deserts of Arabia could understand the Quran when it was revealed to them 1400 years ago.   The shepherds and nomads of the deserts of Arabia,  once they comprehended the message,  took the message of Allah within 100 years of the Prophet’s (saws) death to every part of the then known world,  and conquered people’s hearts with its eloquence and wisdom!

Brothers,  I urge all of you to understand the Quran once.   And then decide for yourself,  who is guiding from the Quran and to the Submission of Allah,  and who is guiding man to the submission of man!    You decide from the Quran who deserves our invocation and worship?   You decide from the Quran who deserves our rites of prostration (sajda)?   You decide whose Will you want to submit to?   Allah’s or some being who is Created by Allah Himself!

Whatever you decide for yourself,  please remember that we will not be accountable for your deeds,  and you will not be accountable for our deeds.   No one will carry the burden of the other.   Our appointment on the Day of Resurrection,  is with Allah,  the Lord of the Worlds,.   On that Day,  there will be no helper,  no protector and  no intercessor between man and Allah.    All the fancy stories and promises made  by man,  without any authority from the Quran,  will disappear.    Please give a deep thought to the following aayahs of the Quran.  If one reads the Quran,  he will realize that there are literally hundreds of similar aayahs saying the same thing over and over again.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22  Surah Al-Hajj verses 71-72: They invoke besides Allah, those, for whom Allah has sent down no authority,  nor do they themselves have any knowledge about them.   Such transgressors have no helper.   And when our clear Revelations are recited to them,  you will perceive signs of disdain in the faces of the disbelivers, as though they were going to assault those who recite our Revelations to them.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anam verse 70: And leave alone those who have taken their ‘deen’ as a sport and past-time,  and have been deluded by the life of this world.   Nevertheless,  you go on admonishing them by reciting the Quran to them,  lest any person should be seized because of his own deeds;  and that too, at a time, when there would be no protector,  no helper and no intercessor to rescue him from Allah;  when no conceivable amount of ransom would be accepted from him.   This is because such people shall be seized, in consequence of what they themselves had earned.

The fundamental concept of Islam is that there is only One God,  Who Created us and everything else in the heavens and the earth,  and thus He Alone deserves to be worshipped,  without invoking anybody else in between.   This concept is called the concept of “Tauheed” in the Quran,  and  is the central theme of the whole Divine Book.   This concept of ‘Tauheed’ closes all the shops opened by all those who claim to be the ‘raza na sahebs’!   No wonder they work day and night to keep the clear guidance of the Quran away from our understanding.   They decorate their shops with fancy promises and false stories to attract their customers.   They sell the words of Allah for worldly gains.   Please read what Allah has to say about these people who hide the guidance of the Quran from the people, for their own personal gain.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Al-Baqarah verse 174:Indeed those,  who conceal the commands that Allah has sent down in His Book and barter them away for paltry worldly gains,  fill their bellies with fire.   Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection,  nor will He regard them as pure and there is a painful torment for them!

May Allah make us of those who use our faculty of reasoning and determining for ourselves what is right and what is wrong,  using the Holy Quran as our only Criterion.  May Allah give us the wisdom and courage to distinguish between the guidance of man,  and the guidance of Allah’s words in the Quran!   May Allah take us out of the servitude of man,  and bring us to be His obedient slaves and  servants.   Ameen.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
