Who wrote the history after the Prophets (saws) death?

for the enlightening us on misconceptions & perceptions about the Noble
Companions of Nabi Mohammad saws.
On
having read the answer to question 52, I have questions arising out of
curiosity: How old was Aisha when Nabi Mohammad saws passed away at age of
63? And second question is: Who wrote the history after the death of Nabi
Mohammad? My own view about history is that history is usually written by
the conqueror/s or those in power at the time of the period in question.
Please enlighten us on this issue

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Aisha was about 18-19 years old when Prophet Mohamed (saws) died.

Many an eminent scholar has written the history of the muslims after the death of the Last Messenger of Allah (saws). Among the most respected names are:
Ibn-Khuldoon.
Ibn-Katheer.
Ibn-Aseer.
Tabari.
But one must keep in view that most of these books of detail history were written at the end of the Banu Abbasid period, and that would be at least 400 years after the death of the Prophet (saws).
Among the first complete works was by a scholar called Ibn-Hishaam, who wrote the ‘Seerat’ of the Prophet of Allah (saws), and that too was written about 100-150 years after the death of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

Although, we cannot say with any authority, but your view does seem absolutely correct in light of the historical records of the past 300-500 years. If you take the history of USA from the ethnic Americans (the so called red-Indians), they would claim that the New England settlers were murderers. And if you take the same events from the New England settlers, they would claim that the ethnic Americans were rogues and had to be eliminated. Similarly, if you take Indian history from the British before Independence, people like Bhagat Singh, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, etc. were terrorists and most of them were charged with treason. But if you read modern Indian History, they would claim that the same people were freedom fighters and national heroes! Same with the history of South Africa during apartheid, they would claim that Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko, etc. were activists and terrorists!
Thus it is normal that the same events and incidents in History are often written and re-written from different angles and different views. And although the events and the incidents do not change, the commentary and conclusions of those events can be as different as North and South!
But as muslims, Allah has not commanded us to follow History… but rather we are commanded to obey and follow Allah and His Messenger (saws).
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
