Conditions for divorce: It has come to stage where my husband of marriage of one has now in procceding for divorce

It has come to stage where my husband of marriage of one has now in procceding for divorce. He has also separated from me and plans not to have contact with me for four mouths so as a result to automatic divorce. Reason being becuase I would not lose weight for him. He tells me he has a right of say on how I should look like to him. Knowing my husband for a total of three years I feel very scared and worried of my future. I do also feel he is degarding me. Not knowing to much of the laws of divorce. Please would you advise me.

Conditions for divorce

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sister by staying out of contact for four months or for any number of years does not automatically constitute a divorce. A divorce has to be pronounced for it to come into affect.

For frivolous things like not losing weight a divorce should not be pronounced. Divorce is a serious matter and one should fear the wrath and anger of Allah swt for abusing this option.
